Several months ago VAIO was mentioned as Japanese company which is going to work with Microsoft in order to produce Windows 10 smartphone. Today they have finally introduced their first Windows 10 phone called VAIO Biz. It is announced in Japan with price around $430.
From what we can see it offers a really good tech specs. It has 5.5 inch display with full HD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels) and it is based on octa-core CPU Snapdragon 617. It has also 3GB of RAM and 16 GB for storage with possibility of upgrading storage space with microSD card. The primary camera is 13 megapixel while the front facing camera is 5 megapixel. The battery will have capacity of 2800 mAh.
Considering that the VAIO Biz comes with Windows 10, because of that it will have features like Windows Continuum and Cortana.
From available information it is very likely that this VAIO Phone will not be available outside Japan. Also it is very interesting that mostly people associate this company with Sony. However from 2014 there are no longer a Sony brand.
