Global technology leader Xiaomi today released the much-anticipated Mi 11 in Mainland China, the latest flagship in its popular Mi smartphone lineup.  As Xiaomi’s first premium phone in the new decade, Mi 11 offers ground-breaking innovations in performance, display and entertainment. Debuting Qualcomm^®’s Snapdragon™ 888 chipset, Mi 11 aims to be a performance leader in 2021. Featuring a 2K AMOLED display with the impressive 120Hz refresh rate, Mi 11 is also equipped with a 108MP 8K main camera and dual speakers with SOUND BY Harman Kardon for an exceptional user experience. All this packed in an 8.06mm slim and light body, Mi 11 starts at RMB 3,999 and will be available for pre-order in Mainland China official sales channels from 10pm tonight (GMT+8).

Leading performance in 2021: Qualcomm^® Snapdragon™ 888 world debut

As the latest iteration of Xiaomi’s Mi digit series, Mi 11 is a performance powerhouse. Equipped with the latest Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 888 Mobile Platform, which is manufactured using the most advanced 5nm process, Mi 11 offers breakthrough performance with superior power efficiency.

The ultra-large core Arm Cortex-X1, designed for maximum performance, has powerful computational capabilities, along with the new A78 offering the best to-date power efficiency – these two combined provide for a CPU performance increase of 35% while being 20% more power efficient. The latest Adreno™ 660 GPU achieves its biggest performance leap yet, delivering up to 35% faster graphics rendering compared to the previous generation. 6.81” top-notch 2K Quad-curved AMOLED Screen, DisplayMate rating A+

Mi 11 features one of the industry’s top quality displays with a 6.81” AMOLED quad curved DotDisplay panel and WQHD+ 3200×1440 resolution. The display ensures that every detail of video and graphics is visible on the screen. The screen is made of the new E4 light emitting material and offers peak brightness of 1,500 nits meaning that even the brightest sunlight will not be an obstacle.

Mi 11 supports 120Hz refresh rate and an ultra-high touch sampling rate of 480Hz. On top of that, it also offers an ultra-high quasi-primary color screen with a JNCD of 0.38. Xiaomi’s new self-developed color calibration algorithm makes the display more accurate. Supported by pixel-binning technology, Mi 11 enables users to capture spectacular images without sacrificing any visual quality with its 4-in-1 1.6μm large pixels, even under very limited light conditions. Powerful 4,600mAh battery in a 8.06mm slim and light body

With Mi 11, Xiaomi optimized the design of numerous components to deliver a light and thin device that does not compromise on power and functionality. The phone’s light weight and slim body make it comfortable to hold.

While extremely thin and light,  Mi 11 not only does not cut down on functional experience, but also packs a massive 4,600 mAh battery to ensure full-day battery life. The smartphone supports Mi TurboCharge 55W wired flash charging that can fully charge the device in just 45 minutes*, as well as 50W wireless – fastest in any mass-produced device – which can fill up the phone’s battery in 53 minutes*. You can also always come to your friends’ rescue with 10W wireless reverse charging.

With environmental protection efforts in mind, Mi 11 Mainland China standard version will no longer be equipped with an in-box charger, while the bundle version will come with a separate 55W GaN charger. Both versions are offered at the same price, allowing users to purchase based on their needs.

On top of that, Mi 11 is equipped with dual speakers and offers SOUND BY Harman Kardon. All-new MIUI 12.5, small upgrade with big changes

Mi 11 will be featuring the latest MIUI 12.5, with brand new upgrades in privacy and security as well as Super Wallpaper, animation, haptics, system optimizations and various other new features. Core usage scenarios are optimized to decrease memory usage by 20%, while system operations are designed to use 32% less memory and offer a 17% decrease in power consumption. Mi 11 offers multiple colors for you to choose from: Midnight Gray, Horizon Blue and Frost White in anti-glare frosted glass, as well as Lilac Purple and Honey Beige in vegan leather. The glass version is 8.06mm thick and weighs 196g, while the leatherback device is 8.56mm thick but weighs only 194g. 

Mi 11 will be available in three variants: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB, priced at RMB 3999, RMB 4299 and RMB 4699 respectively. Pre-orders will start at 10pm tonight (GMT+8) via Xiaomi’s Mainland China official sales channels.

Brand new AIoT Router AX6000, offering an unmatched 3.5Gbps transmission speed for your Mi 11

Along with Mi 11, Xiaomi also unveiled its first premium router that supports enhanced Wi-Fi 6 technology during the event – the brand-new Mi AIoT Router AX6000.  The device comes with a maximum 6000Mbps wireless transmission speed and supports 4×4 160MHz bandwidth. As the world’s first router supporting 4K QAM technology, it offers higher data transmission density that increases network speed by 20%.
